Betty Jean Wixom was born on August 20, 1953 to Robert & Gloria Holliday in Oak Creek, Colorado.

Betty graduated from Box Elder High School in Brigham City, Utah in 1971.  Soon after graduation, she married the love of her life, Lester Arlo Wixom in Brigham City, Utah on August 1, 1971.  They started their beautiful family in 1974.  They had 4 children in Utah before moving to Colorado in 1981 and had their 5th child in 1982.

Betty loved the beautiful mountains of Colorado where she enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending quality time with her family.

She was a hard and dedicated worker and worked for many years before retiring.

Betty had a huge heart and always put the needs of other people before her own.  She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister and friend to so many.  Betty's life was a true testament to a life well-lived.  She loved her family deeply and was willing to do anything for any one of them.  That love was returned to her by all of her loved ones.

Betty passed away at her home on February 22, 2023.  She is survived by her husband, Lester; 5 children Travis (Sarah) Wixom of WaKeeney, Kansas; Trudy (Kavin) Pauley of Yampa, Colorado; Trenton Wixom of Oak Creek, Colorado; Trixie (Adrian) Romero of Oak Creek, Colorado and Trevor Wixom of Winter Haven, Florida; 16 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way; brother; 3 sisters and step-father.

Betty will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
