On Sunday, June 3rd, 2018, Carol Ann Yowell Brown passed away at the age of seventy in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. She will be forever remembered by her husband of forty-three years, Robert and their daughter, Nancy Brown as well as her brother Richard Yowell. Her parents, Mary and Truman Yowell, preceded her in death. Those who will also fondly remember Carol include her cousins Ray and Kathy Smith of Delta, Colorado and Milton and Rhonda Smith of Laramie, Wyoming. Brother in law Garry and wife Peggy Brown and Sister in law Patty and husband Curtis Simkins, all of Rock Springs, Wyoming in addition to numerous cousins will miss her greatly. Kim Kelley and Chris Baker will greatly miss the friendship they shared with Carol.

A visitation will be held 4-7, Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the Yampa Valley Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 8, 2018 at the funeral home with interment to follow at the Yampa Cemetery.  A luncheon will be held at the Ladies Aid Hall following the interment, all are welcome to join.
