Clark Eugene Kreger II, age 42, of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, died on Sunday, February 1, 2015. He was born in Waterbury, Connecticut on January 11, 1973, to Bonnie (Kreger) Turner and Donald L. Kreger. He grew up in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. Clark graduated from Washington College in Maryland where he received a B.A. in history. After college, Clark moved to Vail where he fell head over ski boots in love with Colorado. Clark began his banking career at Alpine Bank in Vail. He soon moved to Steamboat Springs where he continued his banking career with Alpine Bank. A kind, compassionate, and courageous man he developed a true passion for law enforcement while in Steamboat. For the last seven years, he proudly served as Patrol Deputy, Investigator, Sniper and SWAT team member at the Routt County Sheriff's Office. Clark is survived by his wife, Denise English Kreger, and two step-children, Alexandra and Jack English, all of Steamboat Springs. He is also survived by his parents Richard and Bonnie Turner; his father, Donald L. Kreger; brother, Bryan; sister-in-law, Cheryl, brother; Donald; step-brothers Tim (Kristin) Turner, and Bob (Betty) Turner; step-sister Sue (Stan) Koribana; and six nieces and nephews, all of Pennsylvania. The family requests no flowers. Instead, The Denise English Kreger Fund has been established at Alpine Bank, to help and benefit Clark's local family. The funeral will be held at 5:30pm, on Thursday, February 5, at the Steamboat Christian Center, 821 Dougherty Road, Steamboat Springs, CO 80487. Reception to follow.
