Beloved son, brother, and grandson Dustyn James was taken from his loved ones much too soon on February 3, 2021.  He passed away in Oak Creek, Colorado at the age of 24 years old.  Dustyn was born on November 11, 1996 to his mother June and father Charles James in Elizabethtown, North Carolina.  Dustyn attended school at Soroco in Oak Creek, Colorado.  He loved the outdoors.  Hiking and camping were his favorite.  When he wasn't enjoying the outdoors, he was playing video games.  Dustyn was a bright light in any darkness and there is not a person who met him that didn't love him.  Dustyn was the most beautiful soul you would ever meet.  Dustyn is survived by and was loved dearly by his maternal grandma Kathy Johnson, mother June Matthews, siblings: Carmen Matthews, Hannah James, Kahlan Matthews, Alexis Matthews; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.  A memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from 5PM-8PM at the Yampa Valley Funeral Home in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
