Earl Eugene Cole of Yampa passed away on the morning of Saturday, September 11, 2021. He was a veteran of the US Army and retired from the Railroad after 41 years of service.

Earl loved fishing, the outdoors and going to the Friday Afternoon Club and spending time with his friends and family. Earl brought a smile and a story to the life of all he met.

Earl is survived by his wife Ann, his sister Illa Shipporiet, and two daughters Tari (Gabe) Gassaway, Diana (Brad) Cole Wheeler and three grand children Myranda (Hassig) Cook, Tanner Cole Wheeler, Jenna Cole Wheeler and three great grand children Preston, Kayden and Harley Cook. He will be deeply missed.

A celebration of life will be held at the railroad park in Phippsburg CO at 11:00 am on Saturday September 18. Please no flowers or gifts just bring your best Earl story and a covered dish if desired.
