In remembrance of a beloved aunt and neighbor, Evelyn was a stalwart Christian and a wonderful example of a true believer.  Her mischievous side made her connect with children and she was an ideal Sunday school teacher wherever she resided. She was a great aunt to three generations of offspring; children of Bill and Mildred Pidcock and children of Carl and Marguerite Nelson. She was a self-taught musician and loved playing her accordion, piano, and electric organ. She earned a reputation as a life long walker.
