Gary La Verne Williams born December 22, 1940 to Vernon C. Williams and Dorthy Eileen Strean Williams, passed away peacefully April 29, 2026 at the age of 85 in the Steamboat Springs Hospital surrounded by family and friends.

Gary married Rose Liebsch Williams while serving his twenty years in the Navy. After retiring from the Navy he settled in South Carolina. With his Navy experience he opened up a TV repair shop. Later moving back to Hayden Colorado to help his aging parents.

Gary met and married Carol L. Williams April 16, 1981. Gary and Carol enjoyed a long joyful union and made many good memories together. He had a lot of love and respect for his Aunt Jannet and helped care for her in her later years.

Gary lived a full and happy life. In all his travels around the world he said "Hayden is the most beautiful!"

After Carols passing in 2023, Gary married Naida Esteban Barzola. She and his caregivers are the team Gary chose to help him in his last years.

Gary is survived by his wife Niada; adopted daughter, Annie Weaver; step children, David Menges, Dale Menges, Denise Menges, and multiple Grand and Great Grandchildren.

There will be a Celebration of Life at the Hayden cemetery June 20, 2026 at 11:00am for a Military Honors, burial, and to say final goodbyes. There will also be a reception afterwards at the Haven in Hayden Colorado.
