Glenda Fitzhugh Coley age 78 of Bowling Green, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter, Pamela, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, August 26, at 8:45 am. She was born in Haybro, Colorado to the late Glenn Granville and Geneva Elizabeth Linn Fitzhugh. She is the widow of Robert Emmet Coakley. Also preceded in death by her son, Robert Glenn Coakley, sister Donna Logan, brothers, Glenn and Richard Fitzhugh. She retired from Country Oven and was a member of Forest Park Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Pam Lam and husband Jon and Tina Axley of Bowling Green; grandchildren, Michelle Lashbrook, Chelsea Coleman and Gavin Lam of Bowling Green, and Austin Coakley of Pennsylvania. Great grandchildren Autumn and Hayden Johnson, Tenley Crafton, and Emriee Forte of Bowling Green. Nephews Glenn Case and wife Vicky of Steamboat Springs, Dean Case, Tom and Don Logan of Vinita, Oklahoma. Great nephews, Franklin Case and wife Monica and Wyatt Case and wife Nicole of Hayden. Along with several other nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
Cremation was chosen. A memorial service took place in Bowling Green, KY on August 30th. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, September 17th at the Steamboat Springs Cemetery. .
