Hildred Marie (Mills) Fogg, age 97, was born at her grandmother's house in Denver, Colorado on March 24, 1927 and passed away peacefully of natural causes on 01/31/2025 in Mesa, Arizona, at the home of her daughter, Sharri.

She was united in marriage to Elmer Junior (Junior) Fogg on April 21, 1946. They lived in Steamboat, CO and Meeker, CO until 1957 when they made their home in Yampa, CO. Hildred lived in Yampa for 63 years until moving to an Assisted Living home in Arizona in 2020 to be by her daughter, Sharri.

Hildred loved getting together with the family, whether with her kids and their families or nieces/nephews, cousins, extended family members or friends. Her house was the "go to" place.

She always made everyone feel welcome.

Hildred was a pillar to the community and Routt County and known as the Historian for the area. She volunteered at the schools, the Yampa Museum, community projects and had an upholstery business that served the community.

She is survived by her son, Charles (Barbara), and daughter, Sharri (Jeff). Her grandkids, Darin (Pam), Daveena, Shawn (Beth), Eric (Sheridan) and Bradley (Iris). 10 Great grand kids, 9 great, great grandkids and one sister Margie from Grand Junction, CO.

Hildred is preceded in death by her husband, Junior, sons Dan, David, Jerry and grandson Brent.

In lieu of flowers or gifts we ask for donations to be made to Yampa Museum in her honor at the Yampa Town Hall, or send to, P.O. Box 224, Yampa CO 80483, where she volunteered for many years.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Yampa Valley Funeral Home, 2105 Taxi Way, Steamboat Springs, CO, on Saturday, 07/12/2025, at 11:00am.
