Iris Susan Morton, 76, of Routt County, Colorado died September 10, 2017 at her home from natural causes.

Iris was born January 3, 1941 in Utah to Dorothy (Dumas) Growcock and Wayne Growcock. She married Ken Morton in August 1976 in Naturita, Colorado. Ken and Iris moved to the Morton Ranch in Routt County where she resided until her death. Iris was very creative and enjoyed crafting, woodworking, gardening and working the ranch.

Iris is survived by her husband, Ken Morton; daughters Vonna Lee and Lori Lynn Langstaff; stepdaughters Kendra (Van) Quick, and Brenda Goindomenica; grandchildren Michael John Paulson, Kyle A. Quick, Kevin J. Quick, Joshua Jerome Arnoldussen, Kristopher V. Quick, Julia Belle Thomas, and Ky Everett Steele; great-granddaughter Suzy Arnoldussen; and brother Brent (Charlene) Growcock.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Anthony Growcock, her sister Colleen Stuart and her son Warren Allen Langstaff.
