Jacqueline Alita Saputo (Jackie), 74, of Oak Creek passed away June 24, 2017 at the Yampa Valley Medical Center, surrounded by her Son Perry and her daughter in law Maeda.  Jackie was grew up in Schoolcraft, Michigan.  At the age of 16 she moved to Chicago, Illinois where she lived until the age of 35.  Jackie moved to Oak Creek in 1976, as she was drawn to the Mountains, nature and small town lifestyle.  Jackie was known to all to for her incredible kindness and caring for others, her love of dogs & walking and her personal fortitude.  A "Jackie" Remembrance potluck, open to everyone who knew her, will be held at the Decker Park in Oak Creek on Friday, June 30 at 4 PM.  Per Jackie's wish, please no flowers and instead make a small donation in her memory to the Routt County Humane Society.
