Jason Dale Blake was born in Steamboat Springs, Colorado on June 22, 1970. He joined his beloved wife, Heather Blake, in Heaven on May 29, 2024. Jason was devoted to his family, and he loved living in the Yampa Valley. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and canoeing on all the lakes, camping in the forests of Routt County, dirt biking on the trails in North Routt, hunting small and big game, and tubing or kayaking on the Yampa River.

As a talented artist, Jason used wood and metal to create many unique designs for various projects. He loved old trucks, video games and SyFy movies.

On January 10, 1989, Jason married the love of his life, Heather Ann Synder, in Steamboat Springs. They have two sons, Derek Blake of Lyons, CO and Devin Blake of Steamboat Springs. In addition to his two sons, Jason is survived by his mother, Veronica Blake, sister, Tiffany Blake McGuire, and brother, Brian Blake, all of Steamboat Springs.

Jason was a kind, gentle soul who had an immediate bond with every animal he ever met. There are no words to describe how much he was loved by everyone and how much he will be missed.
