Jean M. Hisey, 88, of Lakewood, CO formerly of Findlay, OH passed away Sunday evening July 23, 2017. She was born in Spencerville, OH to Ralph and Mildred Keck on July 18, 1929.

As an RN Jean enjoyed taking care of many different patients of all ages. She married Robert A. Mitchell on August 27, 1950. Robert was an electrical engineer for RCA. Together they raised their family in Findlay, OH where they resided for 30 years.

In 1980 Jean was proceeded in death by her husband Robert. On March 24, 1984 she married Donald Hisey and moved to Lakewood, Colorado. The couple resided on Florida Avenue for 30 years. Upon the passing of her second husband Donald, Jean moved to Steamboat Springs, CO in 2014 and resided with her daughter and son-in-law and later moved into Casey's Pond Senior Center.

Jean enjoyed gardening, was a wicked card player, and in her spare time she hit the slopes with her family and made sure her grown children knew how to ski. It was well known Jean's favorite place to be was the flower garden. She was an incredible mother, grandmother and great grandmother who was loved by all.

Sons David (Denise) Mitchell Findlay, OH and Chuck (Kathy) Mitchell Findlay, OH

Three step-children: Tom (Regina) Hisey, Tim (Diana) Hisey, and Anne (Richard) Navarro.

9 grandchildren and 12 great grand children

A memorial will be held at a later date in Ohio.
