Johanna Russell

There will be a celebration of Johanna's life from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on July 22nd at 17 E. Logan Ave. in downtown Steamboat. Johanna was a long time local resident who moved to Steamboat in 1979.
Locals will remember Johanna as an owner of Sleeping Giant Insurance Agency and Mr. Money Pawn shop, an active Kiwanis club member and recently as owner of InsurMe Now Insurance Agency. Johanna loved to dine out and was a regular patron of several local restaurants as many servers will remember.
Johanna was also known for her love of and generosity toward animals. She would love to have any donations made in her honor to Best Friends Animal Society, the Animal Assistance League of NW CO. or the Routt County Humane Society.
