JD was a Junior and three-sport student/athlete attending West Grand High School in Kremmling Colorado. JD's passion was for riding snowmobiles with his family and friends. He will be remembered as a kind-hearted, loving, witty young man. He loved spending time with big brother Will and his crew of brothers' that shared many battles with him on the football field and basketball court. He is survived by Parents Eric and Karen Guess of Kremmling; brother Will; grandparents John and Erlene Guess (La Junta CO) and Dave & Diane Bokel (N Myrtle Beach SC); aunt Roslin Marshall (Uncle Steve; cousin CJ) of Morrison CO; Uncle David Bokel of Canon City CO. A memorial service was held at the West Grand High School in Kremmling CO on Monday November 2. He was fondly remembered by his father and brother, WGHS coaches, friends and family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the West Grand High School (JD Guess Memorial Fund), PO Box 515, Kremmling CO 80459. Contributions can also be sent directly to the Guess Family at PO Box 42, Kremmling CO 80459. JD's family would like to thank all of the friends, family, emergency services personnel and community members who have come out of the woodworks to offer words of encouragement, food, lodging, memorial donations, errands, planning assistance, etc. He touched many lives in a short amount of time, and will be sadly missed. Memorial service were held at the West Grand High School gymnasium, Monday November 2nd at 1PM. 208 12th St, Kremmling CO.
