Matt J Scharf died suddenly on March 30th at his home in Steamboat.

Matt was a proud long-time local, sharing his cartoons and graphic design through his publication, "The Valley Voice". He was also a cartoonist for the Steamboat Pilot and a designer for many local and national clients.

Matt loved dirt bikes, outdoor sports, animals, decal stickers, and his partner, Remi Deraedt.

He is survived by Remi, and siblings Tom and Ellen Scharf. He is also survived by Barbara Scharf, Jackson Scharf, and Amanda Bracher.

A memorial gathering will be held at Bud Werner Library on April 10th, 3:00-6:00. Bring memories and decals for Matt's Urn.
