Obituary

Michael Curtis Baumgartner was born on November 2, 1993 in La Junta Colorado to Steve and Mellisa Baumgartner. He was called to be our angel on August 12, 2017. Mikey was one of the most spirited, adventurous fun-loving guys anyone knew. Fiercely loyal to his family and friends, a true man of his word and a friend to all who knew him. Michael had an immense love for the outdoors camping, hiking, dirt biking, snowmobiling, fishing, and anything else he could find to do outside in the mountains of his beloved Steamboat Springs. There are not enough words in the dictionary to describe Michael's adventurous soul and contagious attitude. He will be missed beyond words and loved beyond a lifetime. Michael is survived by his parents, his older sister Kaya (Joe) Boyle of Steamboat Springs, younger brother Steven Baumgartner, son Jaden Burden, niece and nephew Anna and Eddie Boyle, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and so so many friends! He was proceeded in death by his grandfathers, Dr. Robert Baumgartner and Leonard Gentry and many others who will welcome him home.
