Robert Jeffrey Sutor (known as Jeff) was born on March 23rd, 1946 in Morgantown, West Virginia. and died on May 8th, 2020 at the Yampa Valley Medical Center.

Throughout his life, Jeff excelled in many trades, however, he found his passion at home in his woodshop. He mastered his craft working on old, wooden sailing boats in Annapolis, MD, and in Yelm, WA, he became a sought-after craftsman in his community. In 2001, Jeff and his wife moved to Steamboat Springs, where he stayed for the remainder of his life. A beloved husband and friend, Jeff was an avid skier and spent many seasons as a ski guide. He was a dedicated member of the Steamboat gun club and participated as a gun safety officer in the area.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Donald Sutor and Jean Georgianne Motte Sutor of Clearwater, FL. Jeff was survived by his wife, Denise Sutor, of Steamboat Springs, CO, and his stepson, Dion Parker, of Nelson, BC.

As per Jeff's wishes, there will not be a memorial service, and donations to the family are not necessary. Any donations can be made in his name to the Routt County Rifle Club, attention Mike Middleton at info@routtcountyrilfeclub.org
