Obituary

Russell I. Jobe, 58, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025, surrounded by family who loved him deeply.  He was born on September 11, 1967, to Gail Brewer.

Russ will be remembered for his kind heart, quick wit, and his love for family, friends and sports.  He had a lifelong passion for football- especially during fantasy football season–and was always ready for some friendly competition.  Russ also loved to cook, and some of his happiest times were spent gathered around the grill with family and friends during backyard barbecues and holidays.  Russ loved his mom (Gail) dearly and called her every morning for years.  Russ's beloved daughter Krissa held a special place in his heart.

One of the most meaningful moments in Russ's life came recently, when he invited Jesus into his heart and was baptized on October 17, 2025.  A moment of peace and faith that his family will always cherish.

Russ is survived by his mother Gail Brewer and his stepfather Allen Croff, his sister Janelle Thompson (Charles Thompson), stepsister Jessica Riddle (Rod Riddle); stepbrother Tad Brewer (Crystal Brewer); and his cousins who were like a brother and sister to him, Brian Harman (Susan Harman); Brandee Fuller (Dave Fuller), and many beloved Uncles, Aunts, nephews and nieces.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

A Memorial Service for Russ will be held:

Saturday November 15th at 2pm at Euzoa Bible Church, 32305 CR 38, Steamboat Springs, CO, 80487

Russ was a huge Broncos fan and sports fanatic.  We encourage everyone to come dressed in their favorite sports gear.  Of course, the more orange and blue we represent the better.  Even if the Broncos are not your team, wear whatever team gear is your favorite no matter the sport.

We are looking forward to celebrating Russ's life with you all.

We will have a live stream for those that are unable to join us in person.  Please use the link below:
