Stephen Gregory Manzanares entered this world on March 6, 1957 to Miguel F. Manzanares and Aurora B. Gonzales. He is the first of his siblings to enter eternal life on July 9, 2018 in a tragic car accident. His carefree soul and contagious laughter will be truly missed forever.  Stephen is survived by his mother Aurora and sisters and brothers; Robecca Manzanares, Andy Manzanares, Marina Anderson, Miguel Manzanares and Carla Manzanares.  Also his daughter Jessica Ibarra her husband Jose Ibarra and his 5 grandchildren; Alycia Ibarra, Isabel Ibarra, Isaac Ibarra, Jonathan Manzanares, and Josiah Manzanares and longtime girlfriend Pamela Nelson. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Rosie W. Gonzales, his father Miguel F. Manzanares and his son Steven Jeremy Manzanares.

A viewing will take place on Monday July 16, 2018 in Manassa Colorado at Roger's Family Mortuary, 205 N. 3 ^rd Street, Manassa CO 81141 at 12:00 P.M.  The burial and graveside service will be held immediately after the viewing at the New Manassa Cemetery at 2:00 P.M.  A reception will follow immediately after the graveside service with more information to come regarding location of reception.
