Teri was born in Franklin, NJ to Alvin and Florence Anderson.  She grew up at Beaver Lake, NJ, where she developed her love for animals and nature.  She traveled extensively, ultimately settling in NJ. Teri worked as a locksmith and grounds keeper at the New Lisbon Developmental Center. There she met and married the love of her life, Paul Lampe.

In 2021, Teri was diagnosed with dementia. The family moved her to Casey's Pond Assisted Living, to be close to her brother in Steamboat Springs, CO.  She died peacefully there with family by her side.  She will always be remembered as loving and friendly.
