With great sadness, we announce the passing of William "Bill" Pyle, 67, on November 27, 2025, while in hospice care in Steamboat Springs, CO.  Bill was born on August 20, 1958, in Salisbury, MD, to Louis "Bill" and Amelia "Nancie" Pyle.

Bill lived a life shaped by adventure, music appreciation, and travel. As a boy, he traveled the world following his father's Navy assignments, which inspired a lifelong appreciation and curiosity. As a young man, he carried that spirit into a career as an underwater weld inspector in the North Sea, a job that demanded equal parts courage and skill.

Then, almost 40 years ago, the mountains of Steamboat Springs came calling, where he worked as a ski instructor and real estate agent and found his home.

He is survived by his mother, Amelia "Nancie"; daughter, Myrissa Katherine; son, Trevor William; brother, Christopher; and partner, Joan Parnell. Also survived by his former wife, Lianne, the mother of his two children. Bill was preceded in death by his father, Louis W. "Bill" Pyle.

Bill is now in heaven skiing that champagne powder he loved so much.

Family will announce a celebration of life at a future date.
